CNC Multi-Axis Machining Utilizing numerous high-speed computer controlled milling machines, Triton Metals is able to produce quality parts at a quick pace. All while maintaining strict quality control standards.

CNC Turning Several high-speed horizontal milling machines allow Triton Metals to produce quality turned parts at a quick pace. All while maintaining strict quality control standards.

CNC Router Newly added to our CNC machining department is a HAAS GR-512 Gantry router. This is a 3 axis machine that has a large bed capable of machining parts as large as 12' x 5' with 11 inches of Z axis travel. This machine can mill parts too large for a regular milling machine.

CNC Bending/Forming High tonnage is only one factor in a good press brake. Accuracy is also a major factor. Triton Metals Bystronic Byeler press brakes are accurate to .01 degrees across the entire bed. Along with 8 axis backguages, these press brakes form and bend accurate parts..

CNC Rolling Triton Metals Has a new rolling machine, an AmeriCor LH-180/5 unit. This unit has the ability to roll material up to 5 foot wide and 5/16 of an inch thick. There is almost nothing this machine can form a roll on. Good for those projects that need just a little extra touch to make them stand apart from the rest.

Now Twice The Capacity Laser Cutting with Rotary Axis Triton Metals just added a second hi-speed Bystronic Laser. High speed is the name of the game when it comes to laser cutting and Triton Metals has the goods. Triton Metals Bystronic 4,000 watt laser can cut stainless steel up to 5/8", Aluminum up to 3/8" and plate steel up to 1 inch thick. A large 5 foot by 10 foot sheet bed means we can nest many parts on a sheet and get the most value per sheet. Combined with 2 alternating load tables, Triton Metals can run this laser 24 hours a day..

Water Jet Cutting With 60,000 pounds of pressure, Triton Metals Calypso water jet can cut material up to 10 inches thick. A 6 foot by 12 foot bed means the Calypso can nest many parts to a sheet. Where as the Bystronics laser is fast at cutting a small range of materials, the Calypso can cut almost anything and with high accuracy.

Robotic/Manual Welding Welding can be a time consuming procedure and welding aluminum takes a very skilled welder to do correctly. Thanks to Genesis Machines, Triton Metals owns a state-of-the-art robotic welder with a Fronius 5000 power supply that can weld aluminum with repeatable precision. Newly added is another Genesis CRZ-ST Single Station Robotic Welder. This new machine allows Triton Metals to expand its production capicity by 33%.
Triton Metals, Inc. is an approved and recommended "fully qualified" welder for BAE Systems, York, PA, in the "Aluminum" category, the "Steel" category and the "46100 Ballistic Steel" category.

Assemblies While Triton Metals can produce single parts with high precision, we can also produce assemblies. Attention to the smallest details in the design process lets Triton Metals assure correct part fittings and connections.

Quality Assurance As a manufacturer, just producing a part is not good enough, you also need to make sure the part is correct. Triton Metals has greatly expanded its Quality Assurance department to include a 4 step test procedure before a part can pass on to production.

Digital Parts Scanning One of the machines used in the Quality Assurance department is the Mechatronics Visual Quality Comparator. With a 4 foot by 6 foot scan bed, this machine can measure within .001" of accuracy on flat sheet parts. A 2D DXF file can also be created from scanned parts.

CMM Coordinate Measuring Another means of insuring an accurate part is by using a Coordinate Measuring Machine, CMM. Triton Metals has this ability. The Brown & Sharpe CMM machine can compare against a supplied 3D solid model file for dimensional verification. Accurate to with in .0002". Also capable of generating a 3D wire frame model of a supplied part.

Material Graining Often times Triton Metals customers request a different grain on their sheet metal parts. Thanks to a custom built Time Saver, Triton Metals can do this quickly and provide grain options for our customers.

Iridite (MIL-C-5541) Need an aluminum part painted? Not always the easiest task to accomplish. Triton Metals can do it. Thanks to an 11 tank, Class 1A process, Triton Metals can Iridite (Alodine) coat parts for corrosion resistance or for preparing parts for painting. Our tanks are 5 feet by 3 and a half feet by 4 feet.

Powder Coating This is one of Triton Metals specialties. With 3 ovens in house, one 8 feet by 7 feet by 10 feet and two 8 feet by 10 feet by 20 feet, Triton Metals can process large batches of parts with ease. Any RAL spec color can be applied to your parts for a professional and durable finish.

Mil-Spec Wet Painting With an automotive sized spray paint booth, Triton Metals can wet paint over-sized parts a normal manufacturer would have to sub-contract out.

Kitting/Kanban Some of Triton Metals customers have a requirement to "kit" or "kanban" several parts together to ship as one product. Triton Metals has experience in this area and can put your "kit" together regardless if it is just 3 parts or 30.

Shipping Triton Metals takes extra care to make sure our customers parts and products get to their destination. With local deliveries available, Triton Metals also utilizes numerous LTL and national couriers to ship its finished goods. We can even "drop ship" items per customers specifications.
