CNC Programmer well versed using Virtual Gibbs

This individual will be performing offline programming for CNC Lathes, and Mills along with creating procedures, setup instructions and tooling selection.

Requirements:  

  • 3+ years of programming Virtual Gibbs Software
  • Experience with creating procedures
  • Strong communication skills, team player.
  • Open to new theories of manufacturing

Experienced Tig Welders

We have immediate openings for reliable and experienced Tig Welders.

Must be able to:

  • Weld Stainless Steel
  • Weld Aluminum assemblies
  • Close Tolerances
  • Set up machinery to the appropriate parameters for the job
  • Read manufacturers drawings

3-5 years welding experience preferred. Must perform satisfactory weld samples, for hire.

$31K-$52K per year DOE - opportunity to move into Tig II Position once all requirements and skills have been mastered.

 

 

Quality Department Manager

Quality Department Manager will be responsible for promoting all aspects of the Quality Department including but not limited to:

  • Inspection, inspection procedures, and personnel; hiring, training, promoting, disciplining and firing when necessary. 
  • Interaction, both directly and indirectly, with customers concerning initial quality audits to qualify and quantify TMI to do their work, to ensuring proper inspection procedures are developed per TMI and customers requirements when doing the work, to dealing with the customer when there are quality issues that arise.
  • Issuing RMA’s  (Return Material Authorizations) when necessary and to help determine the proper corrective actions both to fix the immediate problem and to avoid future issues of the same nature occurring.
  • Recommend and requisition inspection tooling and equipment.
  • Calibrate and documentation of calibration for applicable inspection equipment and any other equipment in the facility that requires calibration. Arrange for calibration of equipment that cannot be done in-house and will require an outside, independent calibration company to perform.  Ensure all required documentation for calibration is in order.
  • Develop or oversee development of documentation and forms to support inspection, i.e. Inspection Reports, Corrective Action Reports, Defect Reports, Certificates of Conformance, Return Material Authorizations, etc.
  • Working with customers and Project Managers concerning a possible defective products, creation and issuance of RMA.  Once RMA is created, work with production to determine root cause of problem(s).  When that has been determined, create a Rework Work Order in either Kform or JobBoss.
  • Issue C of C’s, confirm documentation to substantiate C of C’s.
  • Obtain specs and standards to work against that pertain to or are called out on drawings and purchase orders to individual jobs when necessary.

ISO

 

  • Perform Customer Surveys annually and report findings of said surveys.
  • Audit Vendors performance.  Audits are required prior to using for Type I vendors.  Qualify and quantify vendors for continued use.
  • Track and report Non-Conformance Reports and Defect Reports from customers.
  •  Track Functional Responsibilities of all TMI employees as related to ISO.
  • Perform Internal Audits based on schedule provided by independent audit company and ISO standards/requirements.
  • Maintain ISO Calibration records.
  • Maintain Employee training records as related to ISO standards/requirements.
  • Verify and audit Receiving Inspection records.
  • Verify and audit Maintenance records as related to ISO standards/requirements.
  • Internal audits include but are not limited to pulling documents to verify accountability and traceability.

 

Quality Control Inspector

We have immediate openings for reliable Quality Control Inspectors.

  • Must be able to Inspect and verify to documents, parts lists, drawings, blueprints, models, specifications and requirements.
  • Use various handheld measuring tools including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, scales, verniers, height gages, tape measures, laser temperature gages, electronic and manual profile gages, electronic thickness gages, squares, protractors, thread gages, etc.
  • Use equipment such as the VQC scanner and CMM-coordinate measuring machine.  Both of which require specific training.   The VQC training is done in-house and on the job.  The CMM training would be likely done off-sight and is formal-software and machine specific training.

            Inspectors are responsible for creating and maintaining inspection reports on a job by job basis using pre-formatted excel based reports which are populated based on drawing dimensions, notes and specifications.

            When/if a part is rejected during any of the in-process inspections; the Inspector is responsible for filling out Defect Report and ensuring that, that part is given to proper department for rework or remake.  On occasion, part may not meet requirements of the drawings, specifications, etc, Inspector can confer with Project Manager and they in-turn can decide either on their own (based on their knowledge of parts’ use) or after conferring with customer whether or not part(s) can be used on a trial basis.

            Receiving Inspectors are responsible for verifying all materials and goods are as purchased, including but not limited to type, size, and quantity.
